Hello!

Today I have a card for you. I have made it like a wing. Fun to create your own shape. I have used the embossing dabber through one of Finnabairs stencils. I have carefully applied Distress oxide to add color. Some flowers, glitter and a black pen and my card are ready.

ATC – Stamps Weird is Good by Dina Wakley Media

Did you know that Weird is Good and that Normal is boring. Actually it’s weird not to be weird so embrace the different. LOL, those are all text stamps from the lovely stamp set from Dina Wakley called Weired is good. Love this funky faces of the stamps as well. The size is perfect for ATCs as well. How convinient.

I used watercolor paper as a background and just added some paint with lose brush strokes. As the paper is not smooth I decided I’d better stamp on tissue paper and apply that to the ATCs.

Konstigt är bra och normalt är tråkigt. det är konstigt att inte vara konstig så älska olikheter. Detta är alla engelska texter från Dina Wakleys stämpelset Weired is good. Jag älskar de knasiga ansiktena på stämplarna också. Perfekt storlek för ATC-kort.

Jag har använt akvarellpapper så det var inte helt slätt och därför stämplade jag på tissuepapper och applicerade det på akvarellpappret efter att jag målat med lätta penseldrag med olika akrylfärger.

ATCkort med Dina Wakley Media från LIVE tutorial

This Sunday I made a LIVE tutorial at CiLi in PAPERS FB-page. I made these rainbow ATCs using the thick and creamy acrylic paint by Dina Wakley and some masks I made by stamping her silhouette stamps.

I also made another set of ATCs using Dina’s Glossy sprays and stencils/masks.

I söndags körde jag en LIVE-tutorial på CiLi in PAPERS FB-sida. Då gjorde jag de här regnbågiga ATC (Artist Trading Card)-korten med Dina Wakleys krämiga akrylfärger och masker gjorda av Dinas Silhouettestämplar.

Jag gjorde också ett set med Dinas Glossy Sprays (i samma färgskala) och masker från Dina Ws stencils and masks.

Jag toppade med fraser från Tim Holtz Idea-ology stickers.

Another workweek comes to an end for me. That means some time for me in my craftroom. Can`t wait! How about you? When do you get your crafting time?

Ännu en arbetsvecka går mot sitt slut för mig. Det betyder lite scraptid för mig. Jag längtar! Hur ser det ut för er? När pysslar ni oftast?

I just love to build some dimension with foam squares and tape in my layouts.

Jag gillar verkligen att bygga dimension med hjälp av 3D kuddar/tejp i mina layouter.

It is so easy to make your own “enamel dots” if you have som Nuvo Crystal drops from Tonic Studios.

Det är så enkelt att göra egna halvpärlor om man har lite Nuvo Crystal Drops från Tonic Studios.

Love the combination of gloss and matte surface. Here with glossy Liquid Acrylic Paint and the grungy rust paste. Layers of Tim Holtz tags and for my focalpoint a paperdoll with a vintage flair.  On the paperdoll and the flair I have embossed with the new embossing glaze in vintage photo. Also some factory tags and machinery heads for extra interest.

Art Journal – Colorful on Black Gesso

This one was a bit fun. I started my spread with black gesso this time, wich I don’t do often at all. I played with bright colors and leaved quite a bit of “white space” (in this case the black space) for the eye. I used the thick Impasto Paints from Finnabair/Prima and a white acrylic from Dina Wakley/Ranger.

Det här var lite skoj! Jag började mitt uppslag med svart gesso den här gången, nått som jag väldigt sällan gör. Oftast blir det vit eller clear Gesso. Sedan lekte jag med lite skarpare färger för att få dom att poppa mot det svarta och lämnade ganska mycket “white space” – något som denna gången då blev svart…. Färgerna är Impasto Paints från Finnabair/Prima och Vit akrylfärg från Dina Wakley/Ranger.

I made a page using the fun Bubbles Technique as shown by Vicki Boutin – Love your art Vicki! I like using good quality acrylic paint to get good distinct visible bubbles so I used paint from Dina Wakley and Dylusions.

I decorated with the Simple Vintage Garden District Collection by Simple Stories – another one of my favorites.

The photo is from last summer at Almedalen which unfortunately will not be on this year. We had a great time with lots of interesting speeches and loads of networking and also getting together with some good friends.
