No problems at all to create a fab page when using the Mixed Media backgrounds from Vicki Boutin. This one goes so well with the Color Kaleidoscope collection. The stickers are so sweet and just need a little add of a pox sticker or two to frame the composition. And those birds – how cute are they?!?!

Inga problem alls att skapa en tjusig layout med Mixed Media-bakgrunder från Vicki Boutin. Den här matchar Color Kaleidoscope perfekt tycker jag. Stickres i kollektionen är så vackra och med små små tillägg ramar de in designern så bra. Och fåglarna!!! Så söta!!!

Hi sweet friends! Hope you all have had a great week and weekend as well. 
I’m here today sharing nother happy scrappy page with you. This time I’m back at summer for a while. I’ve been playing with the fabulous Horizon collection by Paige Evans – Pink Paislee though I’ve backed my white background with a lovely green and white dotted paper by One Canoe Two Saturday Afternoon collection. Oh, also I’ve add a few glossy puffy stickers by Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection.

Hej fina vänner! Hoppas din vecka och helg har varit fantastisk. Jag är tillbaka för att dela med mig av en ny härlig scrappig layout med er. Den här gången har jag backat tillbaka till sommaren en stund. Jag har lekt loss med den underbara Horizon kollektionen av Paige Evans – Pink Paislee men jag har “backat” min vita backgrund med ett grönt och vitprickigt papper från One Canoe Two Saturday Afternoon kollektionen. Ohh just det, jag lade även till några härligt glansiga puffy stickers från Maggie Holmes Sunny Days kollektionen.

The flowers are by one of the embellishment packs and a few of the I’ve mounted using some foam tape to get some dimension.

Blommorna är ur ett av dekorations packen och några av dom har jag monterat med foamtape för att få lite dimension.

I really really love the backgrounds from the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Backgrounds and this time I cut it into a smaller piece for a tag. Then I added lots and lots of decorations in layers and dimensions.
I like making tags where the decorations goes beyond the borders of the tag. I think that makes it more vivid.

Jag gillar verkligen de färdiga mixed media bakgrunderna från Vicki Boutin och den här gången har jag skurit ner den i mindre bitar för att göra en tag. Jag har dekorerat med flera lager och i olika dimensioner.
Jag gillar att göra taggar där dekorationerna fortsätter utanför kanterna – då blir det mer levande tycker jag.

Halloween Tags- Prima and Tim Holtz

Halloween is coming up and I have made some tags for Halloween gifts. So perfect to have tags handy and ready when I will be visiting some friends. I have been using the Liquid Acrylic Paint in the background with the Modeling Paste in the Tapestry stencil from Finnabair- Prima. In the background there are also some rubons from Tim Holtz and they in Halloween theme.

Halloween närmar sig och jag har gjort några tags som ska användas på några små presenter till vänner. Ni som följer mig vet att jag älskar tags, just för att de är så enkla och använda och roliga att göra. Liquid Acrylic Paint i bakgrunden och även gjort färgstänk med den svarta färgen. Med modeling paste i en stencil, Tapestry har jag skapat lite struktur. Har gnuggat på lite läckra Halloween rubons från Tim Holtz.

Happy Sunday dear scrappy friends! Anna here with you sharing my recent page. I’ve been playing around with lot’s of goodies by One Canoe Two “Saturday Afternoon”, Maggie Holmes “Sunny Days”, Dear Lizzy “It’s All Good” and a few lovely Nuvo Mica mists by Tonic Studios. This page is a reflection of my chronic headache since 1.5 – 2 years back. Sometimes it helps me to just embrace it and see it as is.

Den här layouten är en liten reflektion av min typ kroniska huvudvärk sedan 1.5 – 2 år tillbaka. Ibland hjälper det mig lite att bara omfamna den och försöka se den för vad den är.

It is good to sometimes remind yourself about all the things that makes you happy; my family, friends, cats, my home, scrapbooking, LOLs, joy and candy for example. When I made this page using one of the Mixed Media Backgrounds from Vicki Boutin I had a vision about writing all these happiness in the lovely circles and adding a photo and some decoration. I didn’t quite manage to get the exact look I wanted – still not comfortable by the looks of my handwriting – but it turned out OK. All pattern papers and decorations are from the Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope collection.

Det är bra att ibland påminna sig själv om allt i livet som gör en lycklig; min familj, vänner, mina katter, mitt hem. scrapbooking, galna skratt och godis tex. När jag skulle göra den här layouten med en av Vicki Boutins färdiga mixed media-bakgrunder så hade jag en vision om hur jag skulle skriva alla glädjeämnen i de vackra ringarna, lägga till ett foto och dekorationer. Men det blev inte exakt som jag hade tänkt mig, mycket för att jag inte är helt nöjd med min handstil. Det känns ändå okej. Alla mönstrade papper och dekorationer kommer från serien Color Kaleidoscope av Vicki Boutin.

Hello! Its me Petra again! I have made a new page using the Color Kaleidoscope collection from Vicki Boutin. I was inspired by the die-cut Colorful when I made this page. I used some layering and hidden journaling and two different photos to show the close up as well as  the view of my favorite flowers of our garden. They are planted just behind the fence I made by my self one summer.

Hej! Det är Petra här igen med en ny layout med Color Kaleidoscope från Vicki Boutin. Jag blev inspirerad av den härliga die-cuten Colorful och har byggt layouten runt den som titel. Med lite färgstänk, blandade dekorationer och stickers och gömd journaling fick jag en färdig sida. Jag har använt två foto, en närbild och en vy från mina favoritblommor som jag planterat precis bakom staketet som jag byggt själv en sommar.

Everyday ordinary life .:. Layout .:. Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope

I love having neighbors that I enjoy spending time with. It makes life so easy and much more fun. Having some of the neighbors over for some wine and dinner is part of the everyday ordinary life … or perhaps not everyday but often. This summer we spent some nights in our shed in the garden under the grape vines and had some food, drinks and laughs. Or tea if it was earlier on the day. I do not need much more than this to be happy.  I made my layout using the Color Kaleidoscope collection by Vicki Boutin. So beautiful  and fun to create with.

Jag älskar att ha grannar som jag gillar att hänga med. Det gör livet så mycket lättare och så mycket trevligare. att grannarna kommer över och äter lite och dricker lite vin – eller te – är helt enkelt en del av vardagen. I somras spenderade vi några kvällar i vårt pinnade skjul i trädgården under vinrankorna och åt, drack och skrattade. Jag behöver inte mycket mer än detta för att vara lycklig. Jag har gjort min layout med Vici Boutins Color Kaleidoscope-kollektion. Den är så vacker och kul att skapa med.

Be in the moment is a sentiment on these gorgeous Antique Labels. Here on an ATC box from Prima-Finnabair. Having texture on the box. Have been painting with the liquid acrylic paint and on the top to create some shine some of the gorgeous waxes.

Underbara antika etiketter for vara i fokus på denna ATC ask. Lite textur gjord med 3d gloss gel. Har på detta målat med Liquid Acrylic Paint och för att ge extra känsla och effekt lite wax.
