Christmas has come and gone and the photographs helps me to remember the great days with my family. I loved to work with this beautiful collection from Carta Bella. I especially love the texture on the papers from Carta Belas collections.

Time for some winterphotographs in my layouts. It had to be photographs from inside because we haven´t had a single snowflake yet.This time I worked with Carta Bellas wonderful collection “Snow much fun”.

Wonderful “Crafternoon” from Kaisercraft

I love it when I find a collection that speaks to my, both in patterns and colors. This one does just that. It is a beautiful collection from Kaisercraft that was really easy and fun to work with.

Jag älskar verkligen när jag hittar en kollektion som verkligen talar till mig, både gällande mönster och färger. Denna gör just det. Det är en vacker kollektion från Kaisercraft som var riktigt lätt och rolig att arbeta med.

The photographs are from a great crop in Denmark that I attend at least once a year with my dear friends.

Fotografierna är från en scrapbookträff i Danmark som jag åker till minst en gång om året med mina underbara vänner.

After this layout was done (and a couple more) I still had papers left that I loved. I wanted to work with them some more so I decided to make some cards. I just love the flowers from Prima Marketing. I tend to buy a lot of them with every collection so I have a lot in a box. I used them together with papers from the collection that I was working with to makes these cards.

När jag hade gjort denna layout (och några till) så hade jag fortfarande papper kvar som jag gillade. Jag ville jobba lite mer med dem så jag bestämde mig för att göra några kort. Jag gillar verkligen blommorna från Prima Marketing. Jag brukar köpa alldeles för många ur varje kollektion så jag har många i en låda. Jag använde dem tillsammans med papper från kollektionen jag arbetat med för att göra några kort.

Sometimes we all need some time for our selfs. When that happens to me I go to Bjärred. There is a house way out above the ocean with a sauna and a possibility to swim in the ocean all year around. I just love it!
I played with Prima Marketings collection “Apricot Honey” this time, a beautiful collection.

Ibland behöver vi alla lite tid i lugn och ro för oss själva. När det är aktuellt för mig så åker jag till Bjärreds Kallbadhus. Där finns en bastu och möjlighet att bada i havet året runt. Jag älskar verkligen det stället.
Jag lekte med Prima Marketings kollektion “Apricot Honey” denna gången, en vacker kollektion.

I colored the background with Tonic Studioas Sparkle spray. I sprayed it on a small plastic bag and then “kissed” the paper with the bag.

Jag färgade bakgrunden med Tonic Studios Sparkle Spray. Jag sprayade på en liten plastpåse och “kysste” sedan pappret med påsen.

“Fall Farmhouse” from Simple Stories

Another week almost to its end and it´s getting closer to christmas every day.
I scrapbook an album to myself every year. Each of my grandchildren gets one as well. I have two grandchildren, next year they will be three. This means I make a lot of pages every year. In both size 12×12 and 8,5×11. This time it´s fallpages made with Simple Stories “Fall Farmhouse”. A beautiful collection!

Ännu en vecka är snart slut och vi närmar oss julen snabbt. Jag gör ett scrapbookalbum till mig själv varje år. Båda mina barnbarn får album också. Nu har jag två barnbarn, nästa år är de tre. detta betyder att jag gör många layouter varje år. Jag gör layouter i olika storlekar, 12×12 till mig och 8,5×11 till barnbarnen. Denna gången är det höstsidor gjorda med Simple Stories kollektion “Fall Farmhouse”. En underbar kollektion!

I like to put some decorations or papers on 3D squares to get some dimension.

Jag gillar att montera dekorationer eller mönsterpapper på 3D-kuddar för att få lite dimension.

December Daily Gratitude Journal

Hi!
So, it is getting closer to december and christmas. I have made a December Daily several times before, but this year I figured that I wanted to do it a little bit different. I am doing a December Daily Gratitude Journal. I will take some time in the end of every day in december to sit down and reflect. I want to write about all the things that I am thankfull for, all the joys in my life. I think that this will be a great experience for me.

Nu börjar det närma sig december och jul. Som så många av er så har jag gjort ett “December Daily” album förut. Denna gången bestämde jag mig för att göra det lite annorlunda. Jag ska ta en liten stund i slutet av varje dag i december för att sitta ner och reflektera. Jag vill skriva lite om alla de saker som jag är tacksam för, alla glädjeämnen i mitt liv. Jag tror att detta kommer att bli en bra upplevelse för mig.

The album is from Frank Garcias Memory Hardware collection. I painted it black with Dylusions “Black Marble”.

I made little cards marked with the dates.

Chasing Adventures from Pebbles

Another week at it`s end and I am here with two new layouts. This time I played a little with Jen Hadfields fun collection “Chasing Adventures”. The collection is wonderful (as her collections always are). I love the fun colors and clean patterns.

Ännu en vecka kommer till sitt slut och jag är tillbaka med två nya layouter. Denna gången lekte jag med en härlig kollektion “Chasing Adventures” från Jen Hadfield. Kollektionen är underbar (som alltid). Jag älskar kollektionens glada färger och mönster.

I used some color in the background on both layouts. I used two different techniques. On the first one I sprayed the paint on a plastic bag and pressed the bag on the cardstock. In the second one I splashed the color directly on the cardstock.

Jag använde lite färg i bakgrunden på båda layouterna. Jag använde två olika tekniker. På den första sprejade jag färgen på en plastpåse och tryckte sedan påsen mot cardstocken. På den andra layouten stänkte jag färgen direkt på det vita arket.

 

I love the layered stickers with vellum and regular cardstock.

Jag älskar klistermärkena med vellum och papper.

Pirate Tales from Echo Park

This child, my beautiful grandson Hugo. He is such a happy child. Loves to be outside. Actually likes to be photographed 🙂
I am using Echo Parks collection “Pirate Tales” in these two layouts. It is a great fit for the photographs.

Här använder jag mig av Echo Parks kollektion “Pirate Tales”. Den passar verkligen till de här fotografierna.

I used one of the collections stencil in the background.

Jag använde en av kollektionens stenciler i bakgrunden.

I usually put some of the photographs on photo mats and then mount the mats on foam tape. I like the dimensions it creates.

Jag monterar ofta ett eller flera foton på fotomattor. Sedan monterar jag de på 3D-tejp för att få lite dimension i layouten.
