Idag bjuder jag på ett lite annorlunda inlägg. Jag har precis haft en babyshower för min dotter och svärson. Inför det var det en hel del förberedande som jag fixade. Förutom organisation, inköp och bakande så skulle också en del pysslande göras. Jag använde Doodlebugs kolektion “Anchors aweigh”. Det är en kollektion som är utgående, men till detta kan du använda vilken typ av kollektion som helst. Välj någon som du går igång på.

Todays post is quite different. I just the other weekend arranged a babyshower for my daughter and son-in-law. I had to do some preparatory tings leading up to the babyshower. Besides organizing, shopping and baking I also did som crafting. I used Doodlebugs collection “Anchors aweigh”. It is not a new collection, but you can choose any kind of collection that you like.

Jag förberedde en glasburk som gästerna skulle lägga namnförslag i. Ytterligare en burk gjordes till gästernas gissningar för bebisens födelsedatum, längd och vikt. Alla lapparna som gästerna skev på var dekorerade med kollektionens dekorationer.

I prepared to glass jars. In one of the jars the guests put suggestions for the babys name, in the other they guessed the birthdate, length and weight. All the little notes were decorated with the decorations from the collection.

Jag gjorde en minneslåda som gästerna kunde lägga lite små lappar i. Jag täckte boxen med gesso. Därefter använde jag modeling paste och mask. Jag målade lite wood veneers med gesso och monterade dem på en liten ram och lite ostduk.

I made a memory box that the guest could put notes in. I covered the box with Gesso. I used modeling paste and stencils after that. I colored some wood veneers and put them on a small resin frame and some cheesecloth.

Inne i lådan dekorerade jag med papper från kollektionen, spets och art stones.
