Hi dear friends!

Anna here with you today sharing a new project of inspiration with you. I’ve been playing with some left over acrylic paint from another project and a few lovely pieces from the Simple Stories I Am collection.

Anna här idag med er för att dela lite ny inspiration. Jag har lekt loss med lite överbliven akrylfärg från ett annat projekt och några härliga grejer från Simple Stories I Am collection.

Those green circles are made smooshing Lids from Pringles crisps, with my left over paint diluted with water, on to my paper. Also I made some splatters using the left over paint using a brush.

Dom gröna cirklarna gjorde jag genom att smoosha lock från Pringles chips, med den överblivna färgen utspädd med vatten, direkt på mitt papper. Jag gjorde även lite stänk med en pensel och den överblivna färgen.

Sarcastic Art Journal with Distress Oxide

Inspired by the simple things and lots of white this page was made.
Background colors are a mix of Distress Oxide Sprays and Ink pads. A few stencils, washi and stickers from Tim Holtz together with a stamped image from Dina Wakley and the page was done.

Idag är jag inspirerad av de enkla sakerna och mycket vitt utrymme.
Bakgrunden har jag gjort med en blandning av Distress Oxide Sprays och Oxide stämpeldynor. Några stenciler, wasi och Stickers från Tim Holtz tillsammans med ett stämplat motiv från Dina Wakley och sidan ansågs klar. Ja, det är nog som dom säger, ibland behöver “dagboken” göras i bilder… *skratt*

Busan .:. Art journaling with Bubble Technique .:. Simple Stories .:. Simple Vintage Garden District

Oh this is a special day! My DD turned 12 today! Happy Birthday dear A – love you to the moon and back!

I made this art journaling spread using the Bubble technique that Vicki Boutin showed in one of her video tutorials. I made it a few weeks back when me and my DT-collegue Karin at CiLi in PAPERS had a cyber-scrap-date. Then I added some heavy gesso to stencils from Vicki Boutin. I stamped also with a few random stamps and the stamps from the Simple Vintage Garden District collection. I decorated with the same – still my favorite collection from Simple Stories.

Idag är ingen vanlig dag, för idag är det Alvas födelsedag! Min älskade dotter fyller 12 år – älskar dig mer än du kan föreställa dig!

Jag har gjort en art journal-sida med en bakgrund gjord med bubbeltekniken som Vicki Boutin visade i en av sina videotutorials och som jag och DT-kollegan på CiLi in PAPERS testade i en cyber-scrap-date. Så kul vi hade! Sen la jag på gesso med stenciler från Vicki Boutin. Jag har stämplat med lite olika stämplar men också med stämpeln som ingår i Simple Vintage Garden District-kollektionen från Simple Stories – älskar den fortfarande!

Art Journal – Colorful on Black Gesso

This one was a bit fun. I started my spread with black gesso this time, wich I don’t do often at all. I played with bright colors and leaved quite a bit of “white space” (in this case the black space) for the eye. I used the thick Impasto Paints from Finnabair/Prima and a white acrylic from Dina Wakley/Ranger.

Det här var lite skoj! Jag började mitt uppslag med svart gesso den här gången, nått som jag väldigt sällan gör. Oftast blir det vit eller clear Gesso. Sedan lekte jag med lite skarpare färger för att få dom att poppa mot det svarta och lämnade ganska mycket “white space” – något som denna gången då blev svart…. Färgerna är Impasto Paints från Finnabair/Prima och Vit akrylfärg från Dina Wakley/Ranger.

I made a page using the fun Bubbles Technique as shown by Vicki Boutin – Love your art Vicki! I like using good quality acrylic paint to get good distinct visible bubbles so I used paint from Dina Wakley and Dylusions.

I decorated with the Simple Vintage Garden District Collection by Simple Stories – another one of my favorites.

The photo is from last summer at Almedalen which unfortunately will not be on this year. We had a great time with lots of interesting speeches and loads of networking and also getting together with some good friends.

Jag har gjort en layout med Vicki Boutins bubbelteknik – ÄLSKAR Vickis alla underbara idéer! Jag vill helst använda färg med hög kvalitet för att få distinkta och väl synliga bubblor så jag använde färg från Dina Wakley och Dylusions,

Jag har dekorerat med min favvokollektion Simple Vintage Garden District Collection från Simple Stories.

Fotot är från förra sommaren i Almedalen. Det var suprspännande med massor av intressanta föreläsningar, massor av nätverkande och jag lyckades också träffa fina vänner!

Simple Stories I Am – A 6×8 double spread by Anna

Hi dear ones! Hope everything is doing well with you and your family in this crazy corona-time. At least you can scrap without worries about social distancing, lol!

Anyway I have a 6×8 double spread for you here today. hope you’ll like it. I’ve been playing around with the beautiful I Am collection by Simple Stories and  also made some light Mixed Media using a few fabulous Scribble Sticks by Dina Wakely, Ranger Ink. And of cours I’ve made a few stitches using my sewing machine.

Hej fina ni! Hoppas allt är väl med er och er familj i dessa galna corona-tider. Åtminstone kan man scrappa utan att behöva tänka på att hålla avståndet till varandra, haha!

Hur som helst, jag har ett 6×8 dubbeluppslag för er här idag. Jag har lekt med den fina I Am kollektionen av Simple Stories och även gjort lite light mixed media med hjälp av några härliga Scribble Sticks av Dina Wakely, Ranger Ink. Såklart har det blivit några stygn med symaskinen också.

These Scribble Sticks are actually solid acrylic paint. They are like crayons. You just scribble them on your chosen surface ( mine are white cardstock with a already dryed layer of  clear gesso) and then add water using a brush. Play around until you’re happy with it.

Dom här Scribble Sticksen är egentligen solid akrylfärg. Det är liksom kritor. Du bara skissar med dom på din valda yta (min är vanlig cardstock med ett redan torkat lager av clear gesso) och använd sedan vatten och pensel för att lösa upp färgen. lek på tills du känner dig nöjd.

Art Journal – When can we be together?

A fun quick page where the colors from the background is from Nuvo Shimmer Powder – Tonic Studios. On top of the background I’ve stippled the people through a stencil from Dina Wakley with black acrylics. The last picture shows a simular one in other pages that I’ve made in a Facebook Live. Video can be found at @ciliinpapers.

En rolig snabb sida där jag använt mig av Nuvo Shimmer Powder från Tonic Studios till bakgrunden. Över det har jag stöpplat med svart akrylfärg genom en stencil från Dina Wakley. Sista bilden visar en liknande sida i lite andra färger som jag gjorde på en Facebook live på @ciliinpapers sida.
