Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope .:. Capture Happy Moments

Oh My how yummy the Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope collection is. I just had to get it! I have used one of the backgrounds that I love but I have exchanged some of the beams to make it more vivid. I just cut out the beam and placed a slightly bigger piece of the replacement pattern paper behind. I mounted it using washi tape and clear glue.

I wanted to decorate some of the beams but keep the decorations the same color just slightly different so they were visible. Under the photo I used a sticker and some fussy cut birds.

The photo is from our summer vacation in Greece on the way back from the beautiful Island of Agkistri.  Of me and my sweet daughter just before she dropped one of her shoes in the water. We never saw that shoe again.

Åh så härlig Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope-kollektionen ör. Jag var bara tvungen att ha den! Jaghar använt en av de färdiga bakgrunderna men bytt några av strålarna mot andra mönstrade papper för att göra den mer levande. Jag bara skar bort den stråle jag ville byta ut och fäste en lite större bit av mönstrat papper under med lim och washi tape.

Jag ville dekorera strålarna med samma färg ton-i-ton. Under fotot finns en sticker och några figurklippta fåglar.

Fotot är från vår sommarsemester i Grekland, just när vi skulle lämna den vackra ön Agistri. Av mig och min fina dotter, just innan hon tappade sin ena sko i vattnet. Den såg vi aldrig mer.

Do you like making tags? I do! I had so much fun creating these three tags. I combined the stamps from the Scrap Studio collection with papers and decorations from the Greenhouse Collection, both from Kaisercraft. perfect to hang around a whine bottle when going to a dinner birthday party.

Gillar du att skapa tags? Det gör jag! Jag hade så kul när jag skapade de här tre med stämplar från Scrap Studio Collection och papper och dekorationer från Greenhouse Collection, båda från Kaisercraft. Perfekta att hänga på en vinflaska när man ska på födelsedagsmiddag.

Mojitos in the sun .:. Kaisercraft Greenhouse Collection

We really enjoyed the good life with Mojitos in the sun at Agkistri, Greece. It was the best Mojito I have ever tasted and I have decided to become an expert in making Mojitos. I am still in training.

I used the Kaisercraft Greenhouse Collection and added some splashes from Aquamarkers. I started with the photo and created around it adding pieces and decorations and then I mounted that cluster on the background. I like doing that because then I can try different backgrounds to see which I like better.

Vi njöt verkligen av det goda livet på Agkistri, Grekland. Det var den bästa Motion jag någonsin provat och nu har jag bestämt mig för att bli expert på att göra Mojitos. Jag övar fortfarande.

Jag har använt Greenhouse Collection från Kaisercraft och färgstänk från Aquamarkers. Jag började med fotot och byggde med dekorationer och pappersbitar runt det som ett kluster inna jag monterade på bakgrunden.  Jag gillar att göra så. Då kan jag testa olika bakgrunder för att se vad som passar bäst.

Friendship .:. Kaisercraft Greenhouse Collection

Friendship makes life more beautiful! It is so true! This summer we went to Greece with some neighbors and also dear friends. All together we were 23 persons. We had a great time. Love this picture of some of us.

I have created with the Greenhouse collection from Kaisercraft. On this clean and simple page I played with fuzzy cut details from Pattern paper and also the collectables. Just in the end I added some smootch color as well. It was too clean LOL.

Vänskap gör verkligen livet mycket vackrare. I somras åkte vi till Grekland med några grannar som också är kära vänner. Vi var 23 stycken. Vi hade en underbar tid. Älskar det här fotot av några av oss.

Jag har skapat med Greenhouse Collection från Kaisercraft. På den här Clean & Simple-layouten har jag lekt med utklippta detaljer från mönstrat papper och färdiga decos från collectables. I slutet valde jag att addera lite smooth-färg. Den blev alldeles för tom annars.

Layout My Heart .:. Simple Stories .:. Heart

She is my heart – my sweet daughter – and she is the one of my children who doesn’t mind getting photographed by me – LOL. So most of my pages is of you my sweet daughter. I do love you so much!

This page is so simple using just that lovely heart 12 x 12 pattern paper that is so pretty. I added the pictures and some decos but I was careful not to cover the backgrund paper to much. I wanted that one turquoise heart to stand out so I added black heart as well to draw attention to it.

Hon är mitt hjärta min underbara dotter – och hon ör den av mina barn som inte har något emot att bli fotograferad av mig- LOL. Så de flesta av mina layouter är med dig min underbara dotter. Jag älskar dig så mycket!

Jag ville att det vackra bakgrundspappret med hjärtan på skulle vara i blickfånget så jag har valt att sparsamt dekorera min sida. Jag lät det turkost hjärtat få komma i blickfånget genom att lägga till det svarta hjärtat.

I promised some more creations from The Heart collection by Simple Stories. This is a Clean & Simple page using just a few elements. I used a pattern paper and a Basic kit paper for the backgrund connecting them with a sticker board. Then I played with that same shape as a photo mat and added some hearts, flowers and sentiments. This is sort of going back to when I started scrapbooking and I was so inspired by Cathy Zielske android all her books about scrapbooking.

Jag lovade lite mer layouter från Heart-kollektionen av Simple Stories. Detta är en Clean & Simple-layout med bara några få detaljer. Jag har använt ett mönstrat papper och ett enfärgat från kollektionen som bakgrund och kombinerat med en stickers-bård. Sen lekte jag lite med romb-formen som fotomatta. Lite hjärtan, blommor och texter, Det känns som om jag går lite tillbaka i tiden till då jag först började med scrapbooking och min stora inspirationskälla var Cathy Zielske. Jag läste alla henens böcker.

A card and two tags .:.Kaisercraft Everlasting

The week before last  I shared a layout with the Everlasting collection from Kaisercraft. I also made a card and two tags with the same beautiful collection. I tried it on a craft background for the tags and love the contrast and how the patterns stand out. On the card I made it a bit more soft and romantic, just like on the layout, with a white backgrund. I like them both!

Förrförra veckan visade jag en layout med Everlasting-kollektionen från Kaisercraft. Den här veckan har jag använt samma kollektion till ett kort och två tags. Kortet är ljust, romantiskt och mjukt med en vit bakgrund precis som layouten medan när jag gjorde taggarna har jag provat en kraft-bakgrund. De ger starkare kontraster och mönstren står ut lite mer. Jag gillar båda!

Heart .:. Simple Stories Heart .:. a layout and a card

I found this S T U N N I N G collection by Simple Stories called Heart. The colors and patterns are just so lovely. I have already made three layouts and a card and today I will show one of the layouts and the card. The others will follow in the next few weeks to come.

Some of the sentiments of this collection are ment for documenting those who left us but I think it is also just fine to use for the everyday documentation of the sound and living. However if you do have someone that left this life and you want to make a memorandum I truly recommend this collection for that.

Jag har hittat den här U N D E R B A R A kollektionen från Simple Stories; Heart. Färger och mönster är bara så vackra, Jag har redan gjort tre layouter och ett kort. Idag visar jag en av layouterna och kortet och de övriga kommer i bloggen inom några veckor.

Några av texterna är menade för att minnas dem som lämnat oss, men jag tycker ändå att det funkar att använda för att dokumentera vardagen med dem som är friska och levande. Men om du har någon du saknar som du vill göra ett minnesalbum om så rekommenderar jag den här kollektionen.

Today is my name day. Yes my middle name is Margareta. So happy names day to me and my aunt Margareta. I made this page of my sweet kitty Busan that one day decided to jump into the car and refuse to get out. She was really determined.

The Everlasting collection from Kaisercraft comes with this beautiful background and I decided to frame it with a white cardstock, fuzzy cut some details, splash some color mist and add some stitching, collectables and stickers.

Idag har jag namnsdag, japp mitt mellannamn är Margareta. Så grattis på namnsdagen åt mig och min moster Margareta som jag är döpt efter. Jag har använt ett foto av min katt Busan som eb dag hoppade in i bilen och vägrade att gå ut. Hon var verkligen bestämd.

Jag har valt att skapa med Everlasting från Kaisercraft. Den vackra bakgrunden behövde bara lite färgstänk, lite dekorationer och lite maskinsöm. Jag monterade allt på en vit cardstock.

Crate Paper All Heart .:. in pursuit of Magic .:. Girls rule

With lots of fuzzy cut decorations and two pieces of patern paper combined as the background it doesn’t take much more to make a page. The all Heart collection by Crate Paper with its scribbled doodle background is so fun to create with. I also added some machine stitching to get a fun finish and some date stamping.

Med massor av utklippta dekorationer och två mönstrade papper som bakgrund fixar du snabbt en layout. All Heart-kollektionen med sina skissiga, tecknade bakgrunder är riktigt kul att skapa med. Jag sydde lite med symaskin och stämplade med en datumstämpel för att fixa det där lilla extra.
